DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Sprunky.gg respects intellectual property rights. We are an independent directory that documents and links to community-created browser games and mods. We do not claim ownership of third-party games, characters, music, artwork, code, or trademarks unless expressly stated. If you believe material available through Sprunky.gg infringes your copyright, you may send us a notice using the process below.

1. Before sending a notice

Please consider whether the use is authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. A clear and complete notice helps us locate the material and evaluate the request without unnecessary delay. This policy is intended to reflect the notice-and-takedown process described in the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including 17 U.S.C. § 512.

2. Copyright infringement notice

Email your notice to contact@sprunky.gg with the subject line DMCA Copyright Notice. Your notice should include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If one notice covers multiple works, provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including the exact Sprunky.gg URL for each item, and enough information for us to locate it.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Screenshots, ownership records, and the title or developer of the affected game can help us investigate, but they do not replace the statements required above.

3. What happens after we receive a notice

We review complete notices in good faith. When appropriate, we may remove or disable access to the identified material promptly, remove a link or embedded game, and notify the person or source that supplied the affected material. We may ask for missing information before we can act.

4. Counter-notification

If material you supplied was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened because of mistake or misidentification, you may email a counter-notification to contact@sprunky.gg with the subject line DMCA Counter-Notification. It should include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, together with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. Federal District Court described in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.

When the law permits, we may provide a valid counter-notification to the original claimant and restore the material after the statutory waiting period unless we receive notice that the claimant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
